Sorry Bella but I think its Bella, though I dont think she considers herself selfish. But really the whole zombie period that is a form of selfishness isnt it being so absorbed in your own wants and desires that you cant function without them? By the time she gets to the end of Eclipse, she is willing to forgo her own desires for those she loves Charlie, Renee, Edward, Jacob amp Alice. I think she has to make that change in selfishness before she can be truly happy with Edward. I also think her desires to marry him and to become a vampire need to evolve completely from something she wants for herself into something she wants not just gives into, but wants for Edwards happiness.

Ive read them all and found Breaking Dawn disappointing. I felt the ending was rushed and it didnt have any real conclusion, the whole happy ever after thing was kind of disappointing. It was rushed because Bella adjusted to being a vampire too quickly and there was no real battle with he Volturi. It would have been better if it was spread into two books and had more action. I was never obsessed with it like some people are but it was a great series and I felt it deserved a better ending. Anyone else feel this way? What do you think would have made it better?
